A brilliant party should feel effortless to the people hosting it. Behind the scenes, there are suppliers to coordinate, timings to manage and a hundred small decisions that somebody needs to own.

I plan Sangeets, Mehndi celebrations, engagement parties, milestone celebrations and private events across Essex, London and the Home Counties. I’m especially at home with cultural celebrations, family-led events and parties where several traditions or important moments need to come together.

Whether your celebration is in a venue, at home or in a marquee, I’ll bring the plans together and make sure everyone knows what needs to happen. You can spend your time with your guests, rather than fielding questions from suppliers.

Planning a party at home or in a marquee?

​

These celebrations can be wonderful, but they often involve far more than booking a marquee and choosing a caterer. Deliveries, access, power, toilets, catering facilities, weather plans, guest flow and the clear-down all need careful thought.

I have extensive experience with dry hire spaces and home events. I’ll look at how the site needs to work in practice, bring the right suppliers into the conversation and create a plan they can all follow. The aim is simple: a celebration that feels relaxed for your guests because the practical details have been properly handled.

Every celebration is different, so I’ll tailor the support to your plans. Full party planning can include:

You’ll have one point of contact keeping the plans joined up, so you can make the decisions that matter to you without managing every practical detail yourself. Your proposal will set out exactly what’s included for your celebration.

Already planned the party?

If you’ve organised the celebration but need someone to run it, I can provide party coordination. I’ll review your arrangements, gather the details from your suppliers and create a schedule everyone can work from.

​

On the day, I’ll oversee the set-up, manage suppliers and timings, and deal with questions as they arise. The preparation and hours of coverage you need will depend on the venue and the complexity of your plans, so I’ll set these out clearly in your proposal.

Planning several celebrations across a wedding weekend?

​

A Sangeet, Mehndi or welcome party needs its own plan, but it also needs to work alongside everything else you’re hosting.

I can help coordinate supplier access, staffing, room changes and the time needed between events. This is particularly important when the same space needs to be transformed or suppliers need to set up while another celebration is under way.

What it’s like to work with me

You’ll deal directly with me throughout the planning. I’m friendly, straightforward and calm under pressure, and I know when to take charge so that you don’t have to.

​

I also work on a no commission basis. When I recommend a supplier, it’s because I believe they’re right for your celebration and your budget.

​

Party planning fees

​

Full party planning is generally charged at 10-12% of the overall event budget, with minimum fees starting at £3,497. The final fee depends on the location, number of events, level of support and staffing required.

​

Party coordination is quoted individually because a celebration at home or in a dry hire space can need a very different level of support from a party in an established venue.

​

After an initial conversation, I’ll send you a clear proposal setting out what’s included and any additional costs that apply.

Do you only plan parties connected to weddings?

No. I also plan standalone celebrations. You don’t need to be getting married to ask for my help.

Can you help if we’ve already booked the suppliers?

Yes. If the main decisions are made, I can review your plans and discuss the coordination you need in the lead-up and on the day.

Can you plan a party at our home?

Absolutely. I can help work through how the space will function, including access, infrastructure, supplier set-up, guest flow and what happens if the weather changes.

Where do you work?

I’m based in Essex and plan parties across London and the Home Counties. I can also travel elsewhere in England for the right event.

How far ahead should we get in touch?

As early as you can, especially if you’re considering a marquee or dry hire venue. There may still be ways I can help at shorter notice, depending on my availability and how much needs to be organised.
