Party Planning

Professional party planning for South Asian and cultural celebrations and home marquee events, delivered across London, Essex and The Home Counties.

Planning a private celebration should feel exciting, not overwhelming. Whether you are hosting a Sangeet, Mehndi, cultural engagement party or celebration at home, managing suppliers, logistics and timings can quickly become a full-time job.

I specialise in cultural and family-led celebrations involving multiple traditions, key moments and decision-makers. I understand how to balance different expectations while ensuring every element is managed with precision and cultural sensitivity.

Being a dry hire specialist, home and marquee party planning is a particular strength of mine. These events often require considerably more coordination than venue-based celebrations, including supplier access, deliveries, power, infrastructure, guest flow, set-up and clear-down.

You will have one point of contact and a planner who takes ownership of the practical details. I work calmly and discreetly behind the scenes, anticipating problems, keeping suppliers informed and ensuring everything runs to plan.

The result is a celebration that feels effortless for you and seamless for your guests.

Party planning is available across London, Essex and the Home Counties, with wider UK coverage by arrangement. Every event is different.

What is included?

I begin by understanding the type of celebration you are hosting, the atmosphere you want to create and how involved you would like to remain.

Support can include:

  • Venue sourcing and suitability advice, when needed

  • Trusted supplier recommendations and management

  • Budget and logistical guidance

  • Detailed schedules and event timelines

  • Supplier access, deliveries and set-up planning

  • Power and infrastructure requirements for home and marquee events

  • Direct supplier liaison and final confirmations

  • On-the-day set-up, supplier and timeline management

  • Discreet problem-solving throughout the event

  • Clear-down and supplier departure coordination

As your event approaches, I ensure every supplier is working from the same plan. On the day, I coordinate the set-up, oversee timings and deal with any issues quietly, allowing you and your family to enjoy the celebration without being interrupted by questions.

FAQs

Do you have experience with cultural and multi-family celebrations?

Yes. Many of the events I plan include cultural traditions, extended families, multiple decision-makers and several important moments throughout the day. I manage these sensitively while keeping the celebration organised and running smoothly.

What types of parties do you plan?

I plan Sangeets, Mehndis, cultural engagement parties, milestone celebrations and private events at homes, marquees and venues. If your celebration involves multiple suppliers, detailed timings or complex logistics, I can help.

Can you plan an event at home or in a marquee?

Yes. Home and marquee events are a core part of my work. I coordinate access, deliveries, infrastructure, power, suppliers, set-up and clear-down, ensuring every practical detail has been considered.

Do you offer on-the-day support only?

Yes. If you have already planned your celebration, I can provide professional on-the-day coordination to manage your suppliers, timings and logistics. You can find further details on my On-the-Day Coordination page.

How far in advance should I book?

Booking early is recommended, particularly for peak dates. Shorter lead times may sometimes be accommodated depending on availability and the complexity of your event.

Where do you work?

Party planning is available across London, Essex and the Home Counties. Wider UK coverage can also be arranged.

How is pricing structured?

Pricing is based on the type of event, level of support, location and staffing required. Following an initial conversation, I will provide a clear proposal detailing exactly what is included.

As a guide, full party planning is charged at 10% of the overall event budget, subject to a minimum fee from £3,497 according to location.
