Everyone knows that any wedding day, of any shape or size is a culmination of months of planning and a lifetime of dreams and for Brooke and James this was no different. Considering they both have extremely busy lifestyles, they decided rather than worry about all their plans being executed perfectly, they wanted to look forward to their wedding day, so they put their minds at ease and called BusyBrides knowing they didn’t have the burden of managing all the little details.

They had a marquee in a middle of a huge, yet lovely field come garden, with a backdrop of farmland that had hues of beautiful lavender, it was a perfect vision for a July summer wedding.
I got to know Brooke and James slowly over the year we were working together to find that Brooke was agonizing over the little details and like most brides wanted the perfect wedding day so I made sure she had as much assistance as possible to eliminate any worries she had along the way.
They employed me as not only their on the day coordinator but also they loved the idea of a Toastmaster too so I took on both roles on the day and turned up in my full regalia.

I attended the day before to help make sure that everything was put in place and the marquee looked a vision. It was the hottest two days together, which considering the weather we have had this summer, was really lucky.

Brooke and James were the perfect hosts and had a large wedding with lots of really lovely friendly people, a handful of which I knew from my London commuting days, which are always nice to see at one of my weddings!
Also I had the pleasure to work with Magpie Caterers, chosen by James himself, who were amazing, allow me to come back to these guys later in this post!
Now that Brooke & James they are back into their very busy lives, I did ask them if they would send me a small testimonial for my website:
Church & Marquee Wedding
Sian was fantastic through the whole organisation process and dealing with all the suppliers on the day to make sure the wedding went smoothly.
She goes beyond her job role and even managed to get me a few discounts and reviewed some supplier contracts. I would recommend her to anyone looking for some help with their wedding.
Thank you Sian for helping with such a beautiful day with memories that I will cherish forever.
Then unexpectedly I got a beautiful card too with lots of lovely pictures from their day

I want to thank you both for allowing me to help make your day perfect for you. It was a pleasure to work with you both and getting to know you both. Brooke your upbeat personality was truly infectious and I shall miss hearing your laughter. I wish you both the very best health, happiness and long life together. Keep in touch, I want to hear any news of little tiny feet :-)
Here are a few more pictures from their day.

So Brides & Grooms to be, allow me to talk wedding planning for a moment, as there is something I must stress to you all. Hiccups are a common theme and as a wedding planner you can overcome almost any situation. However, the one thing that is generally out of our control is if your caterers turn up without the right amount of staff to cater for your needs, or the right attitude. They can make or break your wedding day, along with your timeline! Every wedding that I have run that has ever overrun, has been down to the caterers, it's a fact.
This is where I would like to recommend Magpie caterers who I had the great opportunity of working with at Brooke & James' wedding. First impression was a well oil machine, second impression, every single one of their staff had a great attitude, they were friendly, helpful and could not do enough to ensure that the ultimate goal was a successful wedding. They got a massive thumbs up from BusyBrides and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caterers with a positive attitude, who don't just care about themselves, but you too!
